Privacy policy
How I handle the information I receive through this site. Brief, no unnecessary legal jargon.
1. Who I am
I am Kenny Díaz, a systems engineer based in Panama City. This site (kennydiaz.net) is personal and professional. I am the data controller. For any privacy inquiry: kenny@prooq.com.
2. What data I collect
When you submit the contact form, I store your name, email and message. I also log your IP address and country (via Cloudflare) to prevent abuse. I do not use third-party tracking cookies or Google Analytics — I use Cloudflare Web Analytics which respects your privacy and does not require a cookie banner.
3. What I use it for
Only to reply to your inquiry and keep a minimal internal record. I do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Your message is also processed by my N8N server (n8n.prooq.com) for automation and notification.
4. How long I keep it
Contact messages are kept while we have an active conversation or business relationship. After that, I archive them. You may request full deletion at any time by writing to the email above.
5. Your rights
In compliance with Panama Law 81 on Personal Data Protection and EU GDPR principles, you have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, object to its processing, and port it. I attend any of these requests within 30 days.
6. External services
The site runs on Cloudflare Pages (hosting + anonymous analytics). Forms use MailChannels as email delivery fallback. Blog comments use Giscus (GitHub Discussions) — GitHub terms apply if you comment. The automation server N8N runs on owned infrastructure (n8n.prooq.com).
7. Changes to this policy
If I update this policy, I change the date above. Material changes are notified by email to anyone who has contacted me in the last 12 months.
